World Flight Supply Ship Runs Out of Fuel

Daily Report

by Lt. L. P. Arnold, "Chicago", Mechanic

Lowell [Smith, Lt, Pilot of "Chicago"] went on a fishing trip while I worked at odds & ends around the plane. The Rask wired she was out of coal so Crumrine [Lt., 6th Division Advance Officer] was busy making arrangements to send coal to her.

In evening a crowd convened in the Island Cafe & as usual wise cracks were flying fast. Skullison contributed his bit -- finally ending by camping in Ogden's bed.
