Daily Flight Information:
The World Flight will be in Brough until July 28th while the planes are refitted with pontoons in preparation for the flight across the Atlantic Ocean.
The World Flight must also wait while the US Navy vessels get into position along the flight route across the Atlantic.

At noon Smith [Lt., pilot of "Chicago"], Wade, [Lt., pilot of "Boston"] and self, accompanied by "The Duke" went to Hull where we made many & various purchases -- mainly buying heavy clothes for the trip through Iceland and Greenland.
The Anglo oil man met us & insisted on taking us to dinner & later to the Music Hall. There the manager invited us all back stage & the remainder of the show we saw from there -- later driving back to Brough
