Just for a change today it snowed, not heavily, but enough to be wet & uncomfortable. During the afternoon it cleared up, the Haida came back to anchorage and we all went aboard. For awhile we amused ourselves fishing -- Attu Mackerel & Black Cod being plentiful. The Aleutian Islands abound in fish, ducks, and fowl, and why more hunters don't take advantage of it, I don't understand.
After putting forth a turkey dinner, we were given a real treat in the form of a bath -- I don't dare mention when we had our last one, but it was long enough ago. About ten we came ashore & sat around until after twelve hoping to get good weather forecasts for tomorrow but without luck.
