The World Flight will be in Los Angeles today to allow for refueling and minor repairs to their planes before continuing to San Francisco.

*We arose this morning early and went to Clover Field to refuel the planes since it was impossible to do yesterday because of the large crowd. In the afternoon we had a swim party followed by dinner at the Christie Hotel where we're staying. We attended a few impromptu receptions also.

Since the police and Army guards were unable to control the crowd yesterday and it was impossible for the flight personnel to refuel their planes, it was necessary to remain in Los Angeles today for this purpose.
