World Flight Nearly Ready to Continue

Daily Report

by Lt. L. P. Arnold, "Chicago", Mechanic

Both days were spent hard at work, it being 8:15 Sunday night before finishing. The planes are practically finished & ready to go -- every possible thing we could think of having been renewed or repaired or rechecked.

Saturday afternoon the Leeds factory of Blackburn's came over for what they call a "Sport's Day" -- running, games, & cricket in the afternoon, followed by a smoker and dance in the evening. We looked for awhile but turned in early.
